Institutional label of St. Mark's Library the General Theological Seminary in New York to the front paste down. This work was donated to the library by Reverend Edwin A. Dalrymple, who specialised in Latin as he led the Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia.
Condition
In a full vellum binding. Externally, a little worn, the front joint is torn. Vellum is a little age-toned with marks, as is usual to see. Damp stain to the front board. Light bumping to the extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Institutional label, stamp, and prior owner's ink inscription to the front and rear paste down. Edge wear to the endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a little age-toned and generally clean with some spots. Small tide mark to the first few page, and to a few other pages. The occasional ink note to the margins.
