Though the pagination is irregular, repeating pp. 865-877 after pp. 896, the register runs continuously as A-Z8, Aa-Zz8, Aaa-Mmm8. Collated, complete.
William Salmon's English translation of this important seventeenth century medical text. 'Pharmacopoeia Londinensis' was a monumental work, being the first standard list of medicines in England. This English translation from William Salmon helped to bring the information to the general public, and not just to those studying medicine, or who spoke Latin.

Bound in modern cloth, with endpapers renewed. Externally very smart with only the odd slight mark. 'Pharmaceautical Society of Great Britain' library stamp to the front pastedown. Internally, binding split between p560-1, with pp. 561 disbound but present, and binding weak in places. Pages age toned with scattered spotting.
