This work references gravitational pull and the orbit of the planets, as well as denying the power of science to give us greater understanding of the nature of things than God's word. Very scarce work. A copy of the sermon preached by Richard Marsh on Sunday the 13th August, 1699, at St. Mary's Church in Cambridge on the subject of the vanity and danger of modern theories. Written and preached by Richard Marsh, a British fellow of St. John's College.
Condition
In the original paper wraps. Externally, sound with shelf wear and age toning to the external pages. The odd mark. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright with light age toning and tide marks. Worming throughout the text. A 1" tear to most pages surrounded by a small tide mark.
