The third edition of this very scarce work.

A vitriolic attack on Quakers, a fascinating religious treatise penned during a fraught time in British history, when dissenters were separating from the Church of England.

This is one of the earliest works produced about Quakers, during the early days of their foundation.

By the former Church of Island priest Charles Leslie, who was a leading Jacobite propagandist after the Glorious Revolution of 1688.

Bound without the errata and advertising leaf, and the engraved title page.

Condition

In a calf binding. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the extremities. A little light rubbing to the joints and extremities. Marks to the boards and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age-toned and spotted.
