The first edition of these works of Horace to be edited by 'Eduardus a Zurck', or Eduard van Zurck, complete in two volumes.
In contemporary panelled calf bindings.
Zurck presents and has edited two volumes of Horace's works, including his epistles, sermons, satires and poetry.
With the register *-2*8, 3*4, A-T8; [4], V-2Q8, 2R6. Collated, complete.
Dated via the British Library.
Zurck published his own editions of Cicero's writings in the same year.
Condition
In contemporary panelled calf bindings. Boards bright, with back strips age toned and with small losses of calf to back strip head and tail. Joints starting, with boards firmly held. Volume I lacking rear free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages a touch age toned due to paper type, but clean.
