Based on sermons delivered at St Clement's, Eastcheap, it was one of the most influential works on the Apostles' Creed in the Anglican Church.

Condition

In a full panelled calf binding. Loss of calf to back strip tail. Significant rubbing to perimeters of rear board, with light rubbing to back strip. Joints starting, with rear board firmly held, and front board somewhat tender. Contemporary inscription to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to tail of frontispiece and title page, with pages otherwise clean and bright.
