First published over a decade prior, this is a handsome mid 17th century Latin and Greek lexicon from Dutch physician and scholar Cornelis Schrevel [Cornelio Schrevelio].
An informative work offering a lexicon of the Greek and Latin languages, 'corrigitur & repurgatur' from the earlier editions.
Rebound in calf, with endpapers renewed.

With the register: a4, A-4T4, 4U2, a-y4, z3. Collated, lacking only the terminal blank [z4].
Inscription of J G Berry to front free endpaper, with former owner's illustration to verso of final leaf, and former owner's ink inscription to title page head and to a number of leaves.
Alongside this Latin-Greek lexicon, Schrevel edited many classical authors, including the works of Ovid.
Condition
Rebound in full calf, with endpapers renewed. Externally, excellent, with light rubbing to back strip head and tail, raised bands, and joints. Inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age toned due to paper type, with spotting and handling marks throughout. Inscription to title page head, and verso of final leaf. Restoration to fore edge of leaf A4. Closed tears to perimeters of leaves, with small neat contemporary ink inscriptions throughout.
