Description
Leather Binding, Very Scarce
The sixth edition of this very scarce work.
A religious text compiling a week's worth of prayers and meditations, by the French-English Anglican clergyman Peter du Moulin, also known as Pierre du Moulin.
Moulin's father was a Huguenot pastor of the same name, the younger studying at Cambridge before settling into various livings as rector across England.
In 1652, Peter the Younger published the anonymous work 'Regii Sanguinis Clamor ad Coelum adversus paricidas Anglicanos', a royalist work which strongly attacked John Milton, and defended Salmasius.
